Vans takes their classic silhouettes to the next level with Schoeller Textiles
This spring, Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, partners with Schoeller, the leader in innovative and high-tech performance textiles, to create a footwear collection featuring Schoeller’s highly functional fabrications on a Vans’ classic silhouette. The Swiss textile company is committed to developing materials that utilize the latest ecologically-based techniques, blended with fresh design. Schoeller’s elastic wind and water repellent soft shell fabric utilizes distinct bonded layers that ensure maximum functionality and all-day comfort.
For the collection, Vault by Vans x Schoeller utilizes fabrications equipped for wet elements across a Vans’ classic silhouette, Authentic ’66 Lite LX in shades of pink and off white. Vans incorporates its Classic Lites construction that features UltraCush™ Lite technology and an ActionFit™ last shape to re-engineer the iconic footwear styles with increased comfort, improved fit and an overall weight reduction. Emblematic of Vans legacy while signifying its progressive design ethos, the Authentic Lite is a modified version of the original vulcanized form, presenting an alternative lightweight and comfort-driven Vans Classics.
